You’ll find us on the north shore of our hometown namesake lake, Rice Lake. Come visit and enjoy the area’s tourist attractions, such as Miller’s Cheese House just across the street. There, you can find more than 70 varieties of Wisconsin’s finest cheeses and other delicacies. In addition, head downtown on the lake for unique shopping, fine dining and friendly accommodations.

Of course, while you’re visiting our hometown, you need to experience Rice Lake, which is popular for smallmouth bass, largemouth bass and musky. Or, Long Lake, nicknamed the Walleye Capital of Wisconsin, is just 15 miles away. In addition, the Chetek Chain of Lakes offers fishing on six different fisheries, ranging in size from the 393-acre Ten Mile Lake to the 683-acre Lake Chetek. The lakes range in depth from 10—22 feet and offer great fishing for largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, crappie and perch. Also nearby is another great fishery, Red Cedar Lake, with 1,841 acres and an average depth of 53 feet. On many of our lakes, you can participate in walleye and bass tournaments. During summer, vacationing boaters also enjoy cruising, exploring, wildlife viewing and picnicking.
